NASA Space Apps Perth

Over the weekend, FBR was involved in the 2019 NASA International Space Apps Challenge, hosted by Space Hub Perth and CORE Innovation Hub.The global hackathon was held in 187 cities across the world simultaneously, with over 18,000 participants.

Thank you to those FBR staff members who donated their time as mentors during the event, offering guidance to the teams as they developed their pitches to produce solutions to 25 NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration defined challenges that we currently face here on Earth and in space

A massive congratulations to the winning Perth teams - Scitech and 'Oceanth Generation' – and to all the teams involved. It was a pleasure for our team to meet and interact with such innovative individuals and talented minds from across Perth, and we look forward to future events!
